Emerging Leaders in Manila
There was a 1-week Emerging Leaders Program Facilitator Workshop in Manila conducted by Ana Dobreva, Area Director of Learning & Development. It was a whole new fun program with interactive activities that we enjoyed a lot.

Now, I am qualified as a facilitator of the Emerging Leaders Program. I will pass my insights to my coachees. I will also make my training sessions as interesting as possible so that other colleagues can enjoy learning to become a leader.
Unleashes the Potential through Strategic Leadership
A Strategic Leadership Program was held at Edsa Shangri-la, Manila for our management colleagues. It is a 12-week leadership learning journey including a 2-day workshop conducted by Ana Dobreva. 14 participants and I attended this workshop and gained valuable knowledge to improve our leadership styles.
Throughout the 12 weeks, we will put forward the knowledge we learned from the workshop into our daily work. We have to complete the “homework” – a journal of self-driven experiential learning. It requires a lot of collaboration with my team, for example, coaching my team and facilitating a team problem solving session, that collaboration between other senior managers and me was improved. I really love this highly engaging learning and development initiative. This is to prepare out mindset, skills and behaviors to become a Shangri-La Leader by focusing on the Shangri-La Leadership Competencies.
As a senior manager, I felt great about this workshop for us because it brought out our entrepreneurial side in the personal planning part. It gave me an opportunity discover my own values, strengths and leadership behavior.
Last but not least, it was fun to learn with my colleagues and I hope the future participants could also enjoy such a joyful learning experience.
